«Tell me about yourself» à tua medida

Ler

One structure, many versions A good answer to "Tell me about yourself" has a fixed structure but flexible details. Present: "Currently, I'm responsible for…" Past: "I started my career in… and later moved to…" Future: "I'm now looking for a role where I can…" Bridge: "That's why this position caught my attention." Before each interview, change two things: the experience you mention and the skill you highlight. Choose the ones that match the job description. Expect the follow-up. If you say something caught your attention, the interviewer will ask what.

Falar

Responde em voz alta a «Tell me about yourself» para duas vagas diferentes (por exemplo, uma em vendas e uma num escritório). Mantém a estrutura e muda os detalhes. Termina com: "That's why this position caught my attention." A seguir, responde ao seguimento: "What exactly caught your attention?"

Escrever

Escreve duas versões da tua resposta a "Tell me about yourself": uma para uma vaga que te interesse e outra para uma vaga diferente. Sublinha os dois detalhes que mudaste e termina cada versão com uma frase-ponte para a vaga.
