People ask me what a normal day looks like, and honestly it depends on the day. On Mondays and Wednesdays I'm in the office, so I leave home before seven to avoid the traffic. Those days start early and finish late. The rest of the week I work from home, and I tend to start later, around nine, because I take my daughter to school first. I try to keep lunch at the same time, but that doesn't always happen. What I do protect is the end of the day: after six I stop looking at messages. I run errands on Saturday morning, and Sunday is the day I don't plan at all.

A DAY THAT ISN'T THE SAME TWICE
Ana works in a small team and shares the school run with her partner.
"On Mondays and Wednesdays I'm in the office. I leave home before seven, because after that the traffic doubles the journey. Those are long days: I get back around seven thirty.
The other days I work from home. I take my daughter to school first, so I start at nine. People assume working from home means a calm day. It doesn't — it means the day starts later and ends later.
The thing I protect is the evening. After six I stop looking at messages. It sounds strict, but it's the only part of the day nobody else books.
Saturday morning is for errands. Sunday I don't plan anything, and that's on purpose."
Perguntas:
1. Why does Ana leave home before seven on Mondays?
2. What does she say about working from home?
3. Which part of the day does she protect, and why?
