Inês is flying from Porto to New York for a conference. It's a long flight, so she has prepared everything: a book, headphones and a bottle of water. After take-off, the flight attendant comes to her row. "Excuse me, may I see your boarding pass? I think there's a problem with the seat numbers." Inês shows it. "Oh, I see. The gentleman next to you has the same seat. Would you mind moving to 31A? It's a window seat." "Not at all," says Inês. During the meal service, she asks, "Could I have the chicken, please? And would it be possible to get some extra water?" A few hours later, the captain makes an announcement: "We're expecting some turbulence. Please return to your seats and keep your seatbelts fastened." When the lights come back on, Inês asks the flight attendant, "Excuse me, do you know what time we'll land in local time?" "We should arrive at about 3.40 pm, a little ahead of schedule."

Imagine you are on a long flight. Speak for 30–60 seconds: ask a flight attendant if you can change seats, explain why, ask about the meal options and ask what time you are going to land.

Write 3–5 sentences to the cabin crew asking to change your seat, explaining the reason, and asking one question about the meal or the arrival time.
